Beneath all experience, beneath all thought, beneath all stories, there is a Universal Field of pure perfection.
I call this Field “Zero”, because it contains nothing yet originates everything. This short chapter from the Tao Te Ching explains it perfectly:
The Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.
It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want.
Tao Te Ching, Ch. 6
The manifestation of Zero is peace, joy, abundance. It’s found all around us, yet most of the time we ignore it.
As I was going to bed last night, I heard the pattering of the rain on the roof. I realized, that is abundance. That is a manifestation of Zero. It’s perfection itself.
And the nature of Zero is such that if you were just to touch it — just to tap into it even a little — you would have limitless abundance. I don’t mean that as a hyperbole, either. Whatever you could think of or desire, it would be yours, because Zero lacks nothing.
But how do we tap into something that seems so transcendent and far removed from our everyday reality?
One way is by giving our attention to that which is a direct manifestation of Zero. That means giving attention to that in our reality which is abundant, which is peaceful, which is joyful, which is effortless.
When you give up your stories, you can gain enough distance from your problems to see the perfection all around you. Tuning into that perfection is the path to Zero.
This sounds theoretical, abstract. But it’s quite practical. Learning to return to Zero is the key to living an abundant, successful, joyful, effortless life.
I’m offering a live masterclass starting this weekend where I’ll teach you the 7 steps I’ve been using to tap into the limitless abundance, joy, and effortlessness I know is available to all. The cost is only $49.97. Just click below to sign up now:
