Let me ask you a hypothetical question.
You are just a regular person. But one day, you come across a magical book that teaches you how to become a powerful magician, able to do anything you want to do. No longer are you confined to the limits of mortal humanity— you may now have it all, as and when you choose.
Question: How long would it take you to decide to create something practical like money, a relationship, good health, your dream home, a trip to your dream vacation spot, etc?
Personally, the answer is about 3 milliseconds.
Well, I came across an article today by a real person who practices magick, who is irritated with those who say that magicians should be getting real-world results as proof of their magickal ability.
If you don’t like the word “magick”, then feel free to substitute with “creative power”, but it’s all the same so I’m sticking with it for this post.
Here’s the article just so you can see it for yourself.
Now somehow this person compares this to Christians who say that their sick child was saved because God loved them, but ignoring all the other sick children out there.
But it’s nothing like that. Because, you’re a magician. You literally have the power of creation at your fingertips. What you want, shall be.
Either you believe that and show it through what you achieve magickally, or you are pretending to believe it and using platitudes to say that material things really don’t matter anyway.
In this article this person says that 93% of their magick is dedicated to maintaining a two-way dialog with the Divine.
And I agree this is important. But… in no way should this take over 90% of your magickal attention. I communicate with my own spiritual allies (deities and the like) on a daily basis. It doesn’t take much work once you know how.
That to me is step 1. But it’s not the end of the journey.
After that’s done, then, start getting results.
I’ve never understood why people who practice magick excuse their own poverty, loneliness, sickness, etc. I get it everyone has different desires, of course, but magick is here to bring you what you want.
If you want something, go after it. Pursue it. Attain it. Succeed. This is your prerogative. If you don’t yet know how, then learn. Find someone more knowledgeable and learn from them. Do your own experimentation.
But don’t make excuses about why you don’t have what you want. That’s just weakness.
If you’d like a boost in creating what you want, a while ago I released a guided meditation to help you attune your vibration to higher emotional states in alignment with any desire you might hold. It’s a great meditation for raising your vibration and getting on track to manifesting what you want.
