It’s such a tough balance to keep between the active role of deliberate creation, and the passive role of flowing with the Universe. I find that almost no one gets this balance correct, including myself at times. ?
Too much on the side of intentionality and will, and you’ll become stressed and caught up in your desires. This will either lead to lack of manifestation, or undesirable manifestations.
Too much on the side of flow and surrender, however, and you become passive. You no longer care about your desires so much. You just surrender to the flow of the Universe and give up all agency.
Generally if you listen to your own intuition, the Universe will remind you of this balance from time-to-time. If you get too focused on intentionality, the stress will be your signal that you need to slow down. If you’re too much on the side of flow, your true desires will reassert themselves and remind you that you really don’t want to be a hermit in a cave somewhere.
It’s the two essential forces of the Universe, Chaos and Order, interacting with one another. They are total opposites and yet both needed in our lives. Without Chaos we are devoid of will, while without Order we have no promise of happiness.
For myself, I focused way too much on Will and Chaos for quite a while, representing the Divine Masculine who appeared to me as Hades (and now Satan). Then I realized my error and brought in more of the surrender/flow aspect, representing the Divine Feminine who appeared to me as Babalon.
But then I slightly overcorrected a little too much, and I’m being reminded of that balance. Now it’s time to bring these two forces forth equally into the world, both into my own life as well as into Dark Ascent.
The upcoming course, 81 Days to Effortless Success, is definitely more on the side of the Divine Feminine / Goddess. This isn’t bad at all, since most people are way too focused on the active, intentional side and need some room to let go. But I’ll be deliberately bringing in the Divine Masculine / God as well in my own personal commentaries throughout the course. My overall goal, then, is to show you both sides of the coin—why these forces need to be balanced and how to do that for yourself.
That’s why the course used to be “81 Days to Effortlessness”, but was renamed to “81 Days to Effortless Success”. “Effortlessness” on its own is just the passive aspect. But “success” brings in the active aspect as well, which balances the equation.
This course is beginning in just a few more days, on Monday, May 6. If you’d like to learn how to balance the forces of Chaos and Order, Will and Love, Light and Dark in your own life, then now’s the time to sign up.
